A leaker answered some questions on 4chan yesterday. Probably the capcombro who leaks things on /v/ from time to time, the one who leaked DMCV back in the day. Here's all the interesting things posted:

Why does Ken look that way?
Ken goes on a journey similar to Ryu to master his skills. But it cost him his finance and family, so he’s looking to fight Ryu once more to regain his glory. A lot of the characters, Luke included, call Ken a washed up has been, which is going to be his story for the roaming mode. It’s your job to help him gain his confidence back... His dogtag belongs to Mel Masters.
Luke and Jaime
intended to be the new ryu and ken of the series and face of the franchise going forward
Who else is in base roster?
Damnd Hasn’t been shown yet, but you see him in the trailer. He’s going to embrace hood language and a lot of references to new rappers with his moves... Personally I think he’s cool and shaping up to be fun, but Capcom is looking to hire a few rappers & black twitch streamers to hype him up. Their whole game plan some of the staff & playtests gave to me is beyond cringe. Just you wait for what they plan on saying about Cammys classic outfit
Will Poison come back?
Later on. She’s currently a celebrity alongside Hugo, so they are sitting this one out until the DLC comes out. Capcom realizes that she prints money at this point. Hugo, not so much.
Story Mode
Expect the story to be a compete hot mess. They want to go the MK/Injustice story route.
SFV Story Changes
So originally, the story was supposed to be that Necalli KILLS Bison, which is why Ryu was supposed to awaken the Power Of Nothingness to beat him at the very last chapter. But then they couldn’t get Oro in time, and a lot of the game was in beta for a long long time because Capcom wanted to rush the game for their events, so they decided to scrap the entire story, and make it the way you see today. If you really play the game story mode again, or watch it, pay careful attention to when Bison mentions Necalli. After that scene, the entire story got rewritten to the point that it’s unrecognizable from the original draft... Remember how Necalli V trigger makes his hair go red? Originally, Bisons battle damaged outfit was due to Nash. Then Necalli devours Bisons soul, effectively killing him, but not taking away his psycho powers, since now Necalli has them. Ryu then kills Necalli at the final battle with The Power Of Nothingness. The plans fell through, but Capcom left the bits of the story in the final product. It was a complete shit show.
Cammy Original Costume
Ehhh she does, and if you look closely at the trailer, she has it in a second during where they show you the fighter names. But it won’t look that good in game. I can guarantee you that... The one you get in game is going to be like her original outfit, but a lot more paint to cover her up. Her ACTUAL uncensored outfit will be DLC. The one in game will not look good at all. Capcom knows what they are doing, which is why Chun Li’s Black dress is going to be DLC...People are definitely going to speak up, which is what Capcom wants. They want anger and hype so that when they release the DLC of the actual classic outfits, people will buy it in waves. It will be released as the first costume pack along with Chun Lis Battle Dress & Alpha costume.
Cody
Cody is the mayor and appears in story mode. Kenny Omega is going to voice him as a guest role. Capcom is trying to lock him as the original VA for Cody for future DLC installments too
Why no 3rd Strike characters?
The reason is Capcom feels that 3rd strike characters simply don’t sell at all. Capcom feels that they’ve never clicked with an audience, which is why you see even Udon not using them much in promotional art because Capcom has a specific mindset about them. Hell, it was already a nightmare to convince Capcom to use Urien, and Oro, who was supposed to be released a long time ago in V (he was one of the first DLC characters, but pushed him back because the original story in SFV got nuked halfway when finishing it up, which I can explain in better detail which also explains why 3rd strike characters aren’t on Capcoms mind at the moment)
New Management
The people in charge honestly are mostly new heads, and they base their data on games like fortnite, which is why Capcom was ecstatic about the crossover, being a learning experience on what people want from their series. They are also wanting the hip hop community and black streamer community badly, that you’ll start to see a lot of black streamers promote the game heavily for them when more of the game and demo is out. So sadly it’s not changing at all until people speak up right now
Laura and Sean
Laura shows up in the story mode, and Sean too, to try to motivate Ken in making a comeback
Alex
But Alex is in story mode, and you run into him. He’s long since retired from fighting, but fights Luke to show him that he still has it and gives him advice on how to control his aggression. But yeah, Alex is long retired from the fighting scene. Says it’s not worth it
Shadoloo
Shadowloo is all but dead. Ed & JP are barely keeping it alive with their Psycho Powers though, so there’s that.
Crossplay
No clue, it's becoming more common but apparently Sony asks for a cut of DLC revenues for games with crossplay or something like that so it costs money. SFV had it because Sony partially funded it and the game was PS4/PC only. SF6 is on Series X too.
Rollback
Absolutely. Every fighting game release Capcom's put out since SFV has had rollback.
Fight Money
You will but the fight money is going to be severely nerfed compared to SFV. Capcom is also going to have an option to buy fight money with real game money, via fight money booster enhancers, effectively boosting your fight money by 2 or 3x. Capcom is planning on trying to sell as much costume DLC at the moment, but the engine is proving to be a challenge for that at the moment.
And the juiciest detail of all
John D got fired because he showed up to a Capcom Cup meeting on Halloween stoned out of his mind, kept asking questions that had already been answered during the presentation, then tried to vape in another room and got aggressive when confronted about it.
