Not to mention, they look fucking hideous. I say, let it get scratched, if that's what it's going to do, and then give Nintendo as hard a time as possible about it. It's fucking ridiculous that this even has to be a concern. I think my repaired screens are scratching again...

1997: We all remember that soon after the N64 was released, it became apparent that the testing department must have had a day off, because after much use, the analog stick would become loose and incredibly difficult to control.
Present Day: Looks like the testers were slacking again, because the 3DS is riddled with an even worse problem, scratches that become permanent over time because of a terrible design choice.
My question is: Why does Nintendo make these kinds of mistakes?

O.K. I've had my 3DS for almost a month now, and I love and treat it as if it were my Child. But I've notice that both screens have scratches I think I have the problem where the bottom screen touches the top screen There is only one scratch that makes the screen look wield, It's right on the middle of the bottom screen and it gives it this green, pinkish color. But if I bring it in to the light, I see all this little ones EVERYWHERE! I have no SPs (screen protectors) yet but I've had trouble looking for a place that does it, but I have now found one! So I have two questions.
1: If I send my 3DS to Nintendo, will they fix it for free?
2: If i send it in and they will fix it, can i post the 3DS with screen protectors and they'll do it still for free? Also i live in AUS NSW, if that helps.

3ds bottomscreen border scratching top screen help!
Hello
I've had my Nintendo 3DS since it came up and I noticed that my top screen is scratched. I lined it up and it lines up to the exact point to the bottom-screen border. I recearshed this and many other people have the same problem. I do have the warrenty for the 3DS as well, will nintendo repair the screen because the model screatched it, not me, for free?
Tópico no suporte da Nintendo. Aparentemente eles consertam, mas e pra nós, pobres brasileiros?

Bottom screen scratching the top screen...
Is this covered under warrenty? Also, whats nintendos "Official" stance on this? Or are they deciding to ignore this issue?
